10x10” archival ink (giclee) print, titled and signed at the bottom of the image, of the Saw Palmetto Study painting!

One of Florida’s most iconic and important plants, it’s a host plant for the Monk and Palm Skippers, a food source for countless insects and animals (notably the Black Bear) and also provides cover for animals! I’ve always loved this plant and wanted to celebrate some of it’s color ranges, from blue grey, to dark green, to the brown dry leaves. I also wanted to show it in the various beautiful stages of flowering and fruiting.
